A Full-Circle Celebration: The Flourish Book Launch

What an absolute joy it was to celebrate the release of Flourish: a Field Guide for Spiritual Growth with our beautiful community at the book launch party! To everyone who wrote a review, purchased a copy, showed up to celebrate, or simply shared an encouraging word—thank you. I’m still floating on cloud nine, overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love and support.

This book is more than just pages and ink—it’s a reflection of years of community investment in me and my family. I’ve always loved how the biblical model of discipleship calls us to be both learners and leaders at the same time. We get to disciple others while also still being discipled ourselves. Like Matthew 10:8 says, we freely receive and freely give. My prayer is that Flourish would equip a lifestyle of discipleship.

Hosting the launch party at The Collective Church was a full-circle moment. I first walked through those doors in January 2020, wondering, What am I walking into?—completely unaware of how transformative that step of faith would be.

I had already begun to encounter the supernatural power of God on my own, but I knew I was created to experience Him in the context of community. I cried out for a Spirit-filled family, and in response, God gave me the word “collective.” A quick Google search led me to a church just ten minutes from my house.

It was there I experienced prophetic ministry for the first time. And can you guess the very first prophetic word spoken over me? “The Lord has a book for you to write.”

As a sweet kiss from God, the celebration of Flourish “just so happened” to land on our very last Sunday at The Collective. We had the chance to testify to all that God has done in our lives over the past five years connected to the Collective. Our pastors graciously commissioned us into our next season—following God’s leading to help plant a new church locally. It was a beautiful, holy moment that only God could orchestrate.

Flourish: a Field Guide for Spiritual Growth is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. If you’re in the Portland/Vancouver area, you can purchase it directly from me at a discounted price. I also have a few merch items left from the launch!

It’s an honor and joy to finally share Flourish with the world. Thank you for being part of this journey.

Thank you Annabelle Atwood for the beautiful images from the book launch party!

Thank you Kayla Ferguson for these two images from the service.
